Clinton High School (CHS) in Clinton, South Carolina is in Laurens County and is the primary high school in Laurens County School District 56. The old building on North Adair Street was opened in 1956. The new school was started in late 2008 and opened in August, 2010. The new building is now open and in its first year [2010]. The school is known for its athletic programs, especially football where the Red Devils have claimed 8 state titles. The Clinton High School Science Olympiad Team is also known for its success, having won three consecutive state titles (2009, 2010, 2011).[1]
